Hand-thrown lunar jar fired using barrel firing techniques. The surface developed layered carbon markings and smoky transitions during firing, while a carved dotted band around the shoulder adds subtle texture and visual rhythm to the rounded form.

Each firing produces unique variations in color and surface, making every piece one of a kind. Firing in this way does not bring the clay to a high enough temperature to vitrify, therefore, these smoke fired items are not food safe or water tight and should be used for decorative purposes only.
